"A house is not a home without a loveable and adorable Frenchie"

  • Is the French Bulldog a Good Pet?
We may be a bit biased but French bulldogs are amazing pets to have, they have a wide range of different personalities from sassy to sleepy all being loveable in their own way. They are very well-rounded dogs in all categories, smart, funny, and cute, and they love being spoiled and receiving lots of attention, if that’s something you’re looking for this breed is right up your alley.
  • Are Frenchies Kid Friendly?
Frenchies can be some of the kindest pets you can own, they’re super playful, funny, and cuddly, and aren’t aggressive at all, however, they may act like it with some barking at those they don’t know and play biting, you should make sure to not allow any kind of playful nipping, so they know it’s not a tolerated behavior and then they’ll never hurt anyone. In our experience, they’re great with kids.
  • Are Frenchies Hard to Train?
Frenchies to most people’s surprise can be very smart dogs, but they also can have massive attitudes if you make them do things they don’t want to. Due to their stubborn nature Potty Training, Kennel Training, Obedience Training, Leash Pulling, and Barking can all be a struggle when dealing with some Frenchies. Potty training especially can be a difficult challenge for a new Frenchie owner if not handled very earlier in their life. In our experience, they are still extremely smart dogs and will catch on to things they’re trained on quickly if handled properly.
  • Are Frenchies Aggressive?
In our experience Frenchies are far from aggressive dogs, some of the most loving and playful dogs you can have. We do however want to make sure it’s common knowledge to always be careful when introducing your dog to other pets and people as every dog doesn’t always reflect traits of their breed. But from a general standpoint, most Frenchies are very sweet dogs that won’t ever hurt anyone.
  • Can Frenchies be guard dogs?
Based on their size we wouldn’t necessarily classify these dogs as guard dogs, they aren’t aggressive enough to go and bite or fight, however, due to their vigilance in our experience they make for great watchdogs. Our pups will bark at anything sketchy they don’t recognize, not just for no reason, if they feel like something is up, they will let us know as that’s what Frenchies specialize in when it comes to protection.
  • How expensive are they and whats the maintenance level?
French Bulldogs are generally an expensive dog breed, at Boujee Life Frenchies we believe in quality dogs over everything, these dogs are healthy and beautiful, and due to how great dogs they are we believe them worth the price. Frenchies’ maintenance needs are not that high and grooming and exercise and requirements are also generally low. Due to their smaller size feeding requirements are also on the lower cost end. On another note, if you consider attention as maintenance these dogs might not be the best fit as they crave a lot of it.
  • How much do frenchies bark?
Most Frenchies don’t generally bark much, only during specific situations do they start, for example, they may bark when encountering other dogs, but mostly when they are startled or see something out of place like people at night or people they haven’t met before. In our experience compared to other dog breeds on like a scale of 1 to 10, they’re about 2.5 to 3.
  • Do Frenchies Shed?
Frenchies do shed although they shed much less than most other breeds because they have a single coat. This does technically mean they are not hypoallergenic, so if highly allergic to pet dander be cautious.
  • How much do Frenchies normally weigh?
Frenchies have a good range of how big they can possibly be. The main range is 20 to 30 lbs. with the average being around 25 lbs. Frenchies are the perfect size for any family as they aren’t too big and aren’t too small.
  • Does my puppy need health insurance?
The French Bulldog is a bundle of joy and happiness rolled into one of the most adorable bodies! However, with their uniqueness can come health issues. We at BLF strongly encourage you to either continue the health insurance your puppy will come home with or research other health insurance companies and purchase a new plan.
  • What should you feed your Frenchie?
When it comes to your Frenchies, their nutrition is critical. Properly feeding your puppy is one of the essential things we feel needs to be emphasized to ensure your Frenchies live strong and healthy lives. A balanced and nutritious diet is paramount for your Frenchies’ overall well-being, as omnivores, most dogs generally don’t get the proper mixture of meats, veggies, and fruits they require for optimal health. It’s important to note every dog is different, so there isn’t one food that feeds all kibble. That’s why we don’t endorse a particular food brand. If we had to recommend kibbles, we would suggest you research Life’s Abundance and Open Farm, as they both have great ingredients and, to our knowledge, have never had a recall. However, when it comes to BLF, our dogs’ diet consists of kibble (we use Life's Abundance) and an assortment of other home cooked or raw nutritious foods like chicken, salmon, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, parsnips, spinach, blueberries, oranges, and yogurt.
  • How do I reserve a Frenchie?
There is a reservation list for the top three picks per confirmed litter. Once the litter is born, additional reservations will be available. The reservation list will be announced and opened first through our newsletter, followed by our social media.
  • How much is the reserve deposit?
Our deposit is $1,000, which will be deducted from the original price of the puppy. (deposit is non-refundable)
  • Do puppies come with shots?
Our puppies will be dewormed, have age-appropriate vaccinations, and come with a full vet check and a 1yr health guarantee contract. It is a requirement to have a vet visit within 72 hours of purchase to ensure a clean bill of health.
  • Does my puppy come with a health guarantee?
All of our pups come with a one year congenital health guarantee. A vet check within 72 hours from pick up or delivery is required.
  • When can your puppy go home?
Boujee Life Frenchies allow puppies to be picked up at 10 weeks of age to receive a minimum of two rounds of vaccinations.
  • I live in another state, how do I receive my pup?
Boujee Life Frenchies are our family's responsibility until they join yours; therefore, Boujee Life Frenchies owners will hand deliver your puppy to your nearest airport for an additional cost based upon the market value of the airline ticket.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
Bank Check made out to "Boujee Life Frenchies, LLC." Bank to Bank Transfer Credit Card (2% upcharge) Venmo (2% upcharge) Cash App (2% upcharge)
  • Will my puppy be potty trained?
While we would love to send every Boujee Life Frenchie home fully trained, unfortunately, that is not realistic. Boujee Life Frenchies will focus on the health and safety of your baby and will begin the potty-training process, eventually moving things into your hands once they are old enough to be sent home.
  • Will you be able to support my Frenchie and me with questions?
Once you purchase a Boujee Life Frenchie, you become a part of our extended family. We certainly will be available for any questions and concerns and will always welcome and look forward to updates on your pup and, of course, lots of pictures.
  • Will my puppy be AKC registered?
All Boujee Life Frenchies will be AKC registered before going to their forever home.
  • I'm interested in breeding rights, what should I know?
There are two types of AKC registration; Boujee Life Frenchies encourages limited registration for all their puppies; however, on a case-by-case basis will allow complete AKC registration, which includes breeding rights. The cost of full breeding rights varies by the puppy.
  • What sets you apart from other breeders?
What we believe makes us different from other breeders is our desire to be better. Our goal is to be a paw above the rest, and we genuinely mean that we'll improve anything that another breeder is doing better than us. We are truly aiming to be the best Frenchie breeder in the world. We love this breed and have the skills and experience in breeding to make the overall process elevated while also streamlined. Anything you believe we could do better in we want you to let us know so we can improve it.

Our Story

Meet Us

We are Bruce and Joanne Dean. We have five boys of all ages and currently three fur babies! Our passion for breeding began 18 years ago when we got our first doggie daughter Cocoa! The joy Cocoa brought our family was more than we ever could imagine and right then we knew we wanted to bring that joy to all of you! We have been breeding for 16 years and our competitive nature drives our long term goals to always be better than the best, do better than everyone else, love better than we did yesterday, and produce a better breed one litter at a time! This is not only by using our past experience to grow, but always being open to increasing our knowledge base as new and improved breeding practices come available.
